St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) starts today, June 20, in the Exhibition Complex “Lenexpo”. It will be held till 22 June 2013.
SPIEF is one of the largest international forums on economic and social issues. Once a year world leaders come to the Northern capital of Russia to discuss the most pressing and actual topics.
This year the main Forum theme becomes the world economy and the perspectives of its development. Event participants will effort to find answers on issues like the elimination of the consequences of the global economic crisis or finding the opportunities for extensive ecomomics grow.
The Forum guests will also participate in extensive cultural program that includes sightsing of St. Petersburg and Peterhof, and visiting the Mariinsky and Mikhailovsky Theatres.
