From 21 to 23 January 2015, in Saint Petersburg (Congress Centre «PetroCongress») under the patronage of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and with the support of world leading associations and unions will be held the 4th Europe + Asia Event Forum (EFEA 2015).  The event will unite all industry professionals: exhibition organisers, professional congress organisers, event agencies specialists, incentive travel companies. In EFEA 2015 will participate heads of relevant committees from Moscow, Saint Petersburg and Russian regions. Annually EFEA gathers leading experts from such countries like Germany, UK, France, Belgium, Hungary, USA, Poland, Austria and others.   
 
EFEA is a communication platform for building a professional dialogue of business communities of meetings industries in St. Petersburg, the regions and foreign countries, making it possible to establish international contacts, share experience and innovations, and attract investment. 
 
The purpose of the Europe+Asia Event Forum is to obtain up-to-date information on the state and prospects of the convention and exhibition industry from world-class professionals and expand of business contacts.
 
Sergei Alekseev, Vice President of EXPOFORUM, Chairman of RUEF; Sergei Bednov, Chairman of the RF CCI Committee on Fair and Exhibition Activities, General Director of ZAO “Expocentre”; Martin Sirk, CEO of ICCA; Vladimir Salamatov, General Director of World Trade Center Moscow; Anna Gorska, Head of ICCA Central European Chapter and other global industry professionals already confirmed their participation in EFEA 2015. 
 
In the framework of EFEA 2015 business programme participants will discuss the burning issues and problems of the events industry, scope, trends and potential of the market. Foreign and Russian experts will share their experience, present their own ideas and projects. Format of the event includes: panel discussions, topical sessions on 6 areas: exhibition industry, meetings industry, business and incentive tourism, destination marketing and venue management. 
 
One of the key sessions of EFEA 2015 will be the Plenary session «The role of the regional marketing in attracting  investments into the economy of a region/ country». During this session international experts of the industry will discuss the way congresses and exhibitions influence regional and national development, as well as the extent of their efficiency; they will also share their experience in regional promotion. 
Another innovative proposal of the Forum will be Special session #seek-and-speak, which will bring together event industry experts with diverse and impressive experience in organising of  events, from festivals and team-building sessions to parties, corporate retreats, and PR events. This will be the first time on the Forum when experts in this particular field of the events industry will hold their professional workshops and share success business cases. Along with the above activities, EFEA participants are welcome to attend master classes, round tables, a contest for young professionals meeting industry «Event TALENTS». 
 
All working days of Europe+Asia Event Forum will be available free service for all participants – on-line system for business meetings – Matchmaking Centre. Matchmaking Centre provides opportunities for individual meetings and networking.
 
The greatest innovative developments for events industry will be present at exhibition of technological opportunities «EXPO EFEA», and for young meeting industry professionals will be organized a job fair, where they will present their implemented projects with the aim to get interesting work.
