Russia-Asia Conference will be an innovation in the Europe+Asia Event Forum (EFEA 2014); this event will bring together leading players in the market of the exhibition industry, trade representations, industry associations and unions of Russia and the Asia-Pacific Region. This region was chosen as Conference theme for a reason.
Asia-Pacific Region is one of the most rapidly developing areas of the world. Many countries in the region score high in business travel rankings and fully exploit economic, social and intellectual potential of the exhibition and convention industry.
A growing number of exhibition venues, improved living conditions, and diverse entertainment confirm the status of the Asia-Pacific Region as a new world centre for business events. Asian governments are aware that drawing events is inherent part of global integration and take development of the industry as a basis for economic programmes and strategy for its further development.
Nowadays globalisation plays a key role in the expansion of exhibition and convention industry across Asia: participants of the processes form a single infrastructure for the meetings industry, while for a few years there has been a trend of steady growth of international event indicators in the Asia-Pacific Region.

Participants of the Russia-Asia conference will attempt to find the answers to these and many other questions; the conference will be held as part of the Europe+Asia Event Forum on January 23, 2014 in “PetroCongress” Congress Centre (World Trade Center St. Petersburg).
